SPM results out on Wednesday (23 March 2011)
The Malaysian Examinations Syndicate (MES), in a statement yesterday, said candidates can obtain the results at their respective schools from 10am that day, while private candidates would get their results by mail.
A total of 467,970 candidates sat for the examination held from Nov 23 to Dec 20 last year.

2010 PMR成績23日放榜
PMR成績23日放榜
(布城15日訊)2010年初中評估考試(PMR)成績將在本月23日(周四)早上10時放榜。
教育總監拿督阿都嘉化今日發表文告說,今年PMR的成績分析,將於同日早上9時公佈。
文告說,報考今年考試的考生可從當天早上10時起,前往各自學校領取成績單,而州教育局將通過郵件把成績單郵寄給私人考生。
今年共有47萬9千675名考生報名並參與考試,其中44萬6千896人是政府學校考生,1萬4千756人為私立學校考生,334人為私人考生。

SPM歷史科須及格,才能獲得SPM文憑
慕尤丁:2013年起,SPM歷史科須及格,才能獲得SPM文憑
(吉隆坡24日訊)教育總監丹斯里阿里慕丁說,政府雖在2013年起將歷史科列為大馬教育文憑(SPM)必須及格的科目,但不會修改歷史科課程綱要,只增加大馬歷史的學習比重。
他說,教育部會在大馬歷史科的部分,加強對大馬建國歷史、聯邦憲法及國家原則的學習。
阿里慕丁今天接受《中國報》電訪時,這么指出。
學習愛國精神
副首相兼教育部長丹斯里慕尤丁昨天宣佈,2013年起,考生必須考獲歷史科目及格,才能獲得SPM文憑。
阿里慕丁強調,歷史科是大馬很重要的科目,但很多學生不重視這項科目,相信今后學生會嚴正看待歷史科。
他說,透過歷史,學生會更瞭解這個國家,並學習愛國及團結精神。
“學生目前分階段學習大馬、東南亞、歐洲及世界歷史,今后將拉長補短,因大馬歷史學習比重增加,其他部分則減少。”
教育部的這項新措施,引起政黨及教育領域兩大疑慮,有人擔憂這會降低SPM的及格率,或歷史教科書成為執政黨的政治工具。
