慕尤丁:2013年起,SPM歷史科須及格,才能獲得SPM文憑


(吉隆坡24日訊)教育總監丹斯里阿里慕丁說,政府雖在2013年起將歷史科列為大馬教育文憑(SPM)必須及格的科目,但不會修改歷史科課程綱要,只增加大馬歷史的學習比重。

他說,教育部會在大馬歷史科的部分,加強對大馬建國歷史、聯邦憲法及國家原則的學習。

阿里慕丁今天接受《中國報》電訪時,這么指出。

學習愛國精神

副首相兼教育部長丹斯里慕尤丁昨天宣佈,2013年起,考生必須考獲歷史科目及格,才能獲得SPM文憑。

阿里慕丁強調,歷史科是大馬很重要的科目,但很多學生不重視這項科目,相信今后學生會嚴正看待歷史科。

他說,透過歷史,學生會更瞭解這個國家,並學習愛國及團結精神。

“學生目前分階段學習大馬、東南亞、歐洲及世界歷史,今后將拉長補短,因大馬歷史學習比重增加,其他部分則減少。”

教育部的這項新措施,引起政黨及教育領域兩大疑慮,有人擔憂這會降低SPM的及格率,或歷史教科書成為執政黨的政治工具。

2016年起取消PMR

慕尤丁:2016年起取消PMR

(澳洲‧悉尼9日訊)副首相丹斯里慕尤丁今日宣佈,教育部將保留小六評估考試(UPSR),而從2016年開始將取消初中評估考試(PMR),改為校本評估考試。

也是教育部長的他指出,小六評估考試雖然獲得保留,但教育部將進一步改善和加強小學課程綱要。

他說,之前所成立的一個檢討考試制度的委員會認為,現有的初中評估考試有必要以一個更恰當的校本評估考試來取代,而且這也較符合多數人的意願。

至於小六評估考試,慕尤丁說,它將保留現有的模式,不過教育部將改善現有的課程綱要,以提高它的效能。
