  1. Can the. Answer of Q47 be C?
Since it make me a bit confuse

    1. i don't think so. cause it says free electron.
the electrons are not free in semiconductors.

      Delete
  2. Q 47 C should be more electrons than holes. Since free electrons are electrons that are free, moving around the atmosphere, not attached to the atoms... i guess

    ReplyDelete
  3. 47 should be C right ? Because n-type semiconductor is doped with antimony .. Its not doped with pentavalent atoms.. Pentavalent atoms its the TYPE of atom in n-type semiconductor..

    ReplyDelete
  4. no.. in n-type only have more electrons then usual.. there are no any holes..!! so 47 A is correct..!

    ReplyDelete
  5. It is not necessarily doped with antimony. Any five valence electron will do. Answer's A.

  6. may i ask something...
    for paper 3...
    section b...
    question 3..
if i wrote my inference like this: the pressure of gas is affected by the volume of object..
    is it acceptable or not?
i am very worry about it..
when i checked my book,it said that the aanswer should be:
the gas pressure is affected by the volume of air...
    aaaarrghhh..
    please explain to me

    ReplyDelete
  7. Q 47 should be C cause only Pentavalent atoms that are about the same size can be doped

    ReplyDelete
  8. From wiki
The answer for Q47 can be A and C
    I think both are accepted....

    ReplyDelete
  9. the pressure of gas is affected by its volume as long as gas temperature is constant...

IF u wrote "the pressure of gas is affected by the volume of object", it is not correct since object can be solid, liquid or gas...

So, the answer is about Boyle's Law...Boyle's Law is one of the famous Gaseous Laws...So, it specifically ask about gas...

    Thanks

    1. thank you..
i guess my answer was wrong..
i hope i can still get A for physics..
      hopefully..
      :'(

  10. ohh...one more question..
if my inference, hypothesis, aim and my manipulated variable were wrong....
is it i cannot get any mark from section b or i can still get marks from other questions (rv,fv,arrangement of apparatus, procedure, tabulation of data and analysing the data?

  12. In paper 2,which flag pole is most suitable(question 9)

    ReplyDelete
  13. i chose flag pole s...
i think it is most suitable....

    1. i am also confused by the question...
the most complicated thing is about the angle.. iam worry about it too..

  14. please let me know which flag pole is most suitable with relevant physics concepts..
    i need to know it..

  15. as for the paper 3 question 4,if i use thickness of wire as the manipulated variable,is it wrong?? should I use length or diameter??

  16. Hi...for the flag pole, I chose the second one...but my friends said the pole needs to have a high density to avoid getting blown away by wind or something >.<....but imo the pole needs to have a high elasticity right?

so which one is the most suitable one?...the 2nd one or the 4rd one??

  18. one more thing..
    for question paper 2..
    heat capacity question..
given the mass of water is 0.5 kg,average heat absorbed is 16 js-1.the time taken is 25 minutes, how to calculate the heat absorbed? iam a bit confused.please show your work too..
    thank you..

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. i just multiply 16js-1 and (25x60)s i think so not so sure BUT this is my answer

      Delete
    2. the mass is used in finding the temperature change

    3. your work is the same with me...
i am glad to know that...
      ^_^ thank you....

  19. 42 is B for sure.. Its heavy industry for sure...it will be a STEP UP transformer.. go and check ur text books for posting this answers

    1. It is D
1st they need to set up the voltage from 48kw to 138kw thn set down to 3k(industry) thn set down agn to 420(home)

  20. and since heat absorbed is what they want and the only info we had is 16js-1 and 25 minutes so we multiply them to get rid of the s and left the j

this is how i do it dunno whether wrong or right but i hope my phy can get A also

    ReplyDelete
  21. your calculation exactly correct.If i'm not mistaken,the total energy absorbed is = 24000j

    ReplyDelete
  22. how about the raise in temperature

    ReplyDelete
  23. i mean for the specific heat capacity the temperature change is how many

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Q=MC0

      24000X(0.5KG)/4.2=raise in temperature

      Delete
    2. That is (QXM)/C. What does that equal to??

      It should be Q/MC=O.

      (4200J kg-1 X 0.5 kg) = 2100 J

      24000 J/ 2100 J = 11.43 degrees celcius.

      Delete
    3. sorry, i did wrongly.. it should be as u said..
me too get same answer 11.43 degrees celcius

  24. Physics flagpole? P Q R S? I did S! What is the answer? I thought flagpoles shouldn't be so flexible? The flex should be low and the density High. Its funny cos i ask my friends why they wanted the density to be lower and they said because "senang nak angkat". I LAUGHED SO HARD. READ THE DAMN QUESTION, it's about building a flagpole that can withstand strong wind. lol. Whether or not we want to angkat is out of the question. Even then, What's your answer?

    I did Q

Flex - Low - Don't want it to be moved too much by wind because personally, I've never seen a flagpole moving left and right in a golf match because of strong wind. lol

Density - High - Obviously everyone knows why

Maximum tension of string - High - Obvious

Position of string tied to pole - High - Obvious

    ----------------------

    What's everyone elses answer?

    -----------------------

    Btw, for specific heat capacity,

    I did Q=MCO

    This means (0.5x4200) is MC

    Q = 24000

24000 divide by (0.5x4200) equals 11.43 degrees celcius.

    ------------------------------

lOvE is wrong on this part. She did (Q X M)/C which does not equal to anything.

    1. ooo came out 2007 part C..
      my ans
      Electromagnetic wave - travel further
High frequency(not sure, because I learn in ICT if high frequency the signals will be blocked by UV ray but according to the 2007 physics answer.. high frequency - higher energy)
receiver thingy at focal point of parabolic reflector- stronger signal
diameter big - reflect more signal
the satellite located high above the ground - less interference

  33. probability to get A-

    p(A-)=133/190 p(E)=190-133
    =0.7 =0.3

    (190/100)x70=133
    p1=44
    133-44=89
    p2+p3=89
    p2(x=60)=89-60
    =29

    p3=29
